'Save the Nurseries' Petition Tabled in Parliament - 13 March 2012
The Australian Workers' Union, on behalf of concerned residents and workers, has presented to Shadow Minister for Primary Industries, Steve Whan, a petition that was tabled in NSW Parliament today, demanding that the NSW Government stop the privatisation of nurseries operated by Forests NSW.

AWU to send OHS specialist to assess contaminated roadwork site

The Australian Workers' Union will be sending their National OHS Director, Dr. Yossi Berger, to Port Macquarie to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the contaminated worksite at the Pacific Highway upgrade just south of Port Macquarie.
